I use OneDrive as a preferred document sharing program. When we commence, I will send you a safe, private and secure OneDrive folder that you can upload the documents I will need to complete a per diem project.
The documents will remain in that private OneDrive folder until you request me to remove them, after you have safely downloaded my completed work.
Of course if you prefer to use your own software, I gladly accept a username and assigned password to access same. I've found it is more costly to your firm, but I understand that the concern is the safety and privacy of the information we share.
